23 Jul Hello BeachCrazy
The endless rain has me craving for some sea, sand and sun. One of the best spots in my country (and arguably, the world) for this combination would be Palawan.
In some of my recent trips on this island, I have come to know its locals and their simple yet skillful lifestyle. It was when I have built relationships with them and with the land that I have decided to make it my mission to showcase their undeniable craftsmanship and its potential in contributing to saving our environment while supporting their livelihood.
Children of the sun, let me introduce my latest collection – BeachCrazy! Designing each and every bag was a journey in itself as I try and coalesce the essence of the maker’s being with the latest trends and of course, it’s functionality.
This particular Nita bag that I’m wearing was created by an indigenous artisan from the Cuyunon tribe of Coron province of Palawan. This is can be a staple carry-all that a modern Filipina can take to the beach or as for me, snag with me on those lazy Sunday mornings with my breezy Rave top and DailySchedulenyph comfy mules. A variety of textures from head to toe can spice up those senses and certainly boost your confidence.
So while I strut the cold concrete floors of Manila, I sure hope I radiate the glimmer of hope and prowess of Palawan tribes with my little bag of sunshine. Look out for more of these available only in limited quantities here in my site!
